The Initiative “Amazonia for Life 80% by 2025” seeks to avert the ecological tipping point of the largest forest on the planet.
Indigenous peoples across the basin and allies are raising their voices to make a call to protect the Amazon and safeguard our collective future. Amazonian Indigenous organizations representing 511 nations and allies unite in calling for a global pact for the permanent protection of 80% of the Amazon by 2025.
We must listen to the guardians of the forest and the scientific community. The time for action is now.
